The “Repicturing Homeless” campaign by Getty Images challenged the clichés of how homelessness is depicted in stock photography. Working with real people who had experienced homelessness, the project created a new, more human collection of images that replaced stereotypes with authenticity. It invited media, brands, and storytellers to change the visual narrative — from pity to possibility.
